Learning photography is a journey and not a destination. I have only been on this journey for a short time, but have learned a considerable amount about composition. The camera I use is a very skilled and technical wonder and it is capable of many great things, BUT it cannot tell you where to point it and when to press the shutter button.

I live in Oxford but love to travel and have just recently been travelling through the world and at the end stayed a few months in Australia to see the whole beauty of this amazing country! The first step before I went on my trip was picking the right photography equipment. I decided to go for a full Micro 4/3rds kit with an OM-D E-M5 & E-M1.

When I started my journey I was not more than a hobby photographer. But thanks to the great nature I got very passionate of becoming better and better. COMPOSITION, COMPOSITION, COMPOSITION – these are for me the three words that sum up what makes a good photo. I always try to give my photos a special “Paul Emmings” look and feel. Recently, my images where published in a huge photo magazine in UK.

Without Olympus I wouldn’t be where I am now. I am really passionate about their products. In 2013 I was selected as an Olympus European Inspirational Photographer and in 2014 I was Judge for an Olympus worldwide photo competition.
